TUTOR PROFILE

I am a qualified, professional potter who has exhibited widely within the UK; I have been teaching ceramics since 1989.

I joined Lewisham Arthouse in 1991, and the development of my work has increased over the years, as I continue to teach in and outside of my studio space with many of my students returning on a regular basis.

"I make decorative thrown stoneware/earthenware glazed functional pots. I also experiment in slabbed sculptural objects that are put together using shapes that interest me. Click here to view a sample of my work" (Shirley Stewart)
