THROWING WORKSHOPS

Weekend Throwing Workshops cost £200.00 for the 2 days or £110.00 per day

Fees for the workshop include lunch and 15 lbs. of pots, bisque and glaze fired OR 3 lbs. per day bisque and glaze fired. Charge for extra pots will be £6.00 per lb bisqued and glazed: £9.00 per lb for raku.

Ten Studio Pottery Workshop Sessions cost £190.00 + £30.00 in advance for materials and firings or
£100.00 for 5 + £15.00 or £21.00 + £3.00 per 2hr session
Taster session/ one session tryout cost £26.00

One-to-One Tutorials @ £50.00 per hour: Sun/BH £60.00
This can be shared by two people on a weekday/eve or Sat at £65.00; Sun/BH £75.00

BEGINNERS THROWING COURSE

This is a ten week introductory course for complete beginners in using the wheel with a maximum of 5 students and will cover all the basic skills required to enable the learner further practice on their own/ elsewhere. Sessions are held 3 times per year for ten weeks each term running on a Thursday from 7.00pm-9.00pm and Tuesdays 2-5pm for 7 weeks depending on interest:

• 11/1-21/3 & 18/4-27/6 & 19/9-5/12, 7-9pm
• Tuesdays tbc and taster sessions only available any Monday to Wednesday 7-9pm unless space available - do ask

Ten week Beginners Throwing Course cost £210.00 + £30.00 in advance for materials and firings or
£110.00 for 5 + £15.00
Prior to signing for a course, new learners pay £26 for their first session, date to be arranged.

One-to-One Tutorials @ £50.00 per hour: Sun/BH £60.00
This can be shared by two people on a weekday/eve or Sat at £65.00; Sun/BH £75.00

Fees for the Studio Pottery Workshop and the Beginners Throwing Course do not include the cost of Materials or Kiln Firings. Pots will be £0.80 per lb clay or glaze and £1.00 per lb per firing bisqued or glazed. For stoneware firings plus £0.40. Total cost is £3.60 per lb for earthenware firing / £4.00 per lb for stoneware firing. Costs will vary according to clays used i.e. procelain or black clay will be priced differently.

When more or larger pots are made then extra payment will be required.
